What do I do if I receive a 2110 error while activating on a Macintosh?
Posted by Marco Paolini on 21 October 2014 05:06 PM

Recent changes to Mac OSX 10 required that we modify our license manager. This affects activating and deactivating.

If you receive a 2110 error, uninstalling and then reinstalling using the latest version from our website will solve the problem. If you are running a version that is no longer available on our website, follow the manual install for the license manager below.

Manually install the license manager

- Download the license manager from: HERE
- Double-click on the file that is downloaded.
- When the window opens, double-click on the FxLicenseManager.pkg and run through the install process.
- Start the Digital Film Tools software and try activating using Internet Activate.

All 55mm and Digital Film Lab Customers

In August 2007, 55mm and Digital Film Lab became the Tiffen Dfx Digital Filter Suite distributed exclusively through The Tiffen Company. Tiffen provides sales, distribution and customer support and Digital Film Tools provides software development for the Dfx Digital Filter Suite.  At last, the time has come to officially retire the 55mm and Digital Film Lab product lines.

Effective November 30, 2009 Digital Film Tools will no longer offer support on any version of 55mm or Digital Film Lab.

Please know that your current license of 55mm or Digital Film Lab will continue to function as usual - as long as the hardware to which it is locked is operational and you are running qualified host software. However, any transfers, replacements or support inquiries will require an upgrade to the Tiffen Dfx Digital Filter Suite.

Check out the many advantages to upgrading to Dfx here

Please take the time to download and get a fully functional trial of DFX here.

If you have misplaced your software and need a previous version please go here, submit a Software Support ticket and you must provide a valid serial number or product activation code that is registered to you in order to get a link to the software.

Thank you for your continued support of Digital Film Tools and The Tiffen DFX product line,
